Because everyone deserves to feel at home.
So, when my wife Darcy and I bought our home over ten years ago, we seriously wanted to work with an LGBTQ agent, and working with a woman would have been phenomenal, however, finding an agent to meet our needs was difficult… no… impossible. It was then that I had my ‘Ah-ha’ moment. The greater Milwaukee area needed more out LGBTQ real estate agents, and I was going to become one of them. I wanted someone like me to have the homebuying experience that I didn’t get. Uncloseted, uncensored, and allowed to be my authentic self. My goal is making sure that you and/or your family is comfortable throughout the entire
process and that you find the perfect place to hang your carabiner full of keys.

The Path I Have Taken
Why Real Estate?
As an aspiring musician in college way back at the turn of the century, I realized that scoring movies or coming out with a platinum album of piano music just wasn’t in the cards for me. That being said, I was given a chance to work as a real estate processor. What is that, you might ask? A data junky who researches neighborhood trends, public records, and all things related to a house and the land it’s attached to. It was such a foreign concept to me, but one that I grasped quite quickly and now have down to a science.
In 2009, my wife Darcy and I began our own appraisal company, Fair Market Appraisals. Seventeen years later, we are still at it. Darcy is hands down the most amazing certified residential appraiser I have ever worked and she has taught me so much about the nuances of housing. In addition to getting addicted to housing, I have built relationships with numerous lenders, investors, assessors, zoning administrators, agents, you name it. The art of appraising is basically led me to real estate sales.

She has been with me from the start
In 2014 I got my REALTOR license, joined Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Metro Realty, and became infatuated with the concept of helping people find their perfect home or sell their current home to pursue a life change. I loved being able to talk them through the entire process, from start to finish, and listen if there was anything else they just needed to share with someone. The human connection is ultimately what I was missing processing appraisals. So, I took that knowledge and crafted it into something that I could make my own- helping you with your real estate needs (whether it be selling/buying a home, researching neighborhood trends, or helping you find the market value of your home).
